The real estate market in Hollyglen and Hawthorne picked up a bit in February of 2019 compared with the previous year. Hawthorne home prices were up almost 8% over the previous February.

Good Schools Make a Big Difference in Home Prices and Home Searches
When it comes to choosing a neighborhood schools make a big difference. Hollyglen home prices are directly impacted by the Wiseburn School system and the demand that creates with families wanting to be in the district. The CAR (California Association of Realtors) recently surveyed home buyers and 47% said that the right school or a good district was very important in their decision making. In addition 43% of consumers under 34 said schools are important and 58% of consumers making over $100,000 said that schools were a big part of their home search.
