Home Sales and Home Prices Impressive in September

Oh what a month it was once again for home sales in Hollyglen….the premier nieghborhood in Hawthorne.  Overall there were 18 total home sales during the month which is a pretty big number.  The median list price was $859,500 with the median sold price of $852,500. 9 of the closed home sales were in the gated community of 360 South Bay.

The average days on market before selling was only 11!

August Home Sales and House Prices in Hollyglen

August was a big month for home sales and home prices in Hollyglen. There were 17 home sales during the month which was impressive. The home prices were even more impressive. The median “list” price was $869,000 with the median “sold” price at $875,000 meaning that the homes generally sold higher than the asking price. The average price per foot was $562 and average days on market was only 24 and the median days on market was an extremely short 9.

Of the homes that sold only 1 was in Fusion South Bay while 6 of the sales were located in the extemely hot real estate market of 360 South Bay.

Hollyglen and Del Aire Home Sales for June 2020

The market picked up some steam in June with the number of home sales jumping up considerably after a slow April and May.  The month saw 12 home sales in these 2 pockets of Hawthorne.  The median list price was $832,000 with the median sold price at $832,500 indicating a very strong “sellers” market.  Of the 12 sales, 2 were in Three Sixty South Bay and 2 were in Fusion which is impressive given how few sales (or listings) there have been in that community for the past 6 months.
