Hollyglen and Del Aire Home Sales and Prices in February

After some sleepy months for home sales in the gated community of Three Sixty South Bay, things took off in January and February. There were 7 homes sold in the Hawthorne neighborhoods of Hollyglen and Del Aire in February and 3 of them were in Three Sixty.

The average “asking” price for the 7 homes was $1,050,557 with an average sold price of $1,070,571.

Of the 3 homes that sold in 360, one was a top floor single level condo at 12920 Central Unit #401 that had been on the market for a hard to believe 343 days before going into escrow and selling at $775,000.  Another was a very different story as 5419 Strand #105 sold for over list price and went into escrow after only 5 days on the market.  The third sale was a fairly similar 2 bedroom townhome in the row at 5355 Strand #103 that sold for $1045,000 after 12 days on the market.

It was a slower month with only 3 homes closing escrow which wasn’t surprising as January is often the slowest month  for closed home sales.

The average “list” price was $1,005,333 and the average sales price was $973,333 meaning homes generally sold slightly below full price.

None of the homes thatt sold were in the gated community of Fusion South Bay or Three Sixty South Bay.

$722 was the average price per square foot and homes averaged  61 days on market before going into escrow.

Welcome to the real estate recap for November 2024 for the neighborhoods of Hollyglen, Del Aire and parts of Wiseburn in Hawthorne CA. It was a great month for real estate in these highly sought after areas both in terms of the number of homes that sold as well the prices that they sold for.  There were 4 on market home sales during the month which was a big drop from the 10 sales in October. The average “list” price was $1,074,225 and the average sales price was $1,072,500 which was a decline from  $1,115,400 in October. Of the 4 homes that sold in October, 1 was in the gated community of Fusion South Bay and 1 sale in the community of Three Sixty South Bay. $806 was the average price per square foot and homes averaged  37 days on market before going into escrow.
