Hawthorne Real Estate Market Update: June 2026

17 Home Sales with $1,106,624 Average Price

The Hawthorne real estate market remained healthy in June, although activity slowed slightly compared to May. A total of 17 homes sold in June, down from 26 sales in May, reflecting fewer closed transactions but continued buyer demand.

Home prices continued to show strength. The average sales price increased to $1.11 million in June, up from $1.08 million in May, while the median sales price dipped to $986,000 from $1.11 million the previous month. This suggests that while fewer homes sold, higher-end properties helped lift the average price.

Homes sold for an average of 99% of their asking price in June, compared to 101% in May, indicating that sellers are still receiving strong offers, though the intense bidding seen earlier in the spring has begun to moderate. The average price per square foot also eased from $775 in May to $728 in June.

14 of the homes were in the Hollyglen and Del Aire neighborhoods.

Overall, Hawthorne continues to be a solid market for both buyers and sellers. Inventory remains limited, home values are holding steady above the $1 million mark on average, and well-priced homes continue to attract strong interest. As we move into the second half of the year, the market appears to be shifting from the fast-paced spring season toward a more balanced summer market while maintaining healthy demand.
