It was a fairly typical month with 7 homes closing escrow which which is fairly typical.

The average “list” price was $1,132,429 and the average sales price was $1,123,857.  Homes sold for 99.5% of the list price.

October saw no home sales in the gated community of Fusion South Bay or in the gated community of Three Sixty South Bay.

$857 was the average price per square foot and homes averaged  40 days on market before going into escrow.

The Hawthorne real estate market was alive and well once again in October.  There were 18 homes that closed escrow compared with a busy 22 in September.

The average list pricefor the homes that sold was $912,144 with the average sale price at $902,061.  This was a drop from September’s $949,167 average price.  

$676 was the average price per square foot and homes averaged a fairly lengthy 71 days on market before going into escrow.

Of the 18 homes that sold during October 6 of the homes were in the Hollyglen/Del Aire neighborhoods of Hawthorne. (highlighed in blue below)
