21 Home Sales with $1,008,857 Average Price

The Hawthorne home sales and home prices impressed once again in September with 21 homes closing escrow. The average asking price for homes that sold during the month was $1,017,233 with the average sale price at $1,008,857.  Of the 21 homes that sold 13 were in the neighborhoods of Hollyglen and Del Aire and average home price was $1,154,154. 9 Home sales at an average price of $1,172,222

Welcome to the real estate market recap for January 2026 for the neighborhoods of Hollyglen, Del Aire and parts of Wiseburn in Hawthorne CA.

Hollyglen and Del Aire definitely bucked the trend as it was a great month for the number of homes that sold and the prices they sold for.  Almost every other city or neighborhood saw a big decline in the number of homes that sold compared to December.

The average “list” price was $1,187,000 and the average sales price was $1,172,222.  Homes sold for 98.5% of the list price.

of the 9 homes that sold 2 were in the gated community of Three Sixty South Bay but unfortunately there were no sales in gated Fusion South Bay.

$844 was the average price per square foot and homes averaged  41 days on market before going into escrow.

5 Home sales at an average price of $1,144,600

Welcome to the real estate recap for March 2025 for the neighborhoods of Hollyglen, Del Aire and parts of Wiseburn in Hawthorne CA.

It was a fairly typical month with 5 homes closing escrow which which is slightly below the norm.

The average “list” price was $1,069,176 and the average sales price was $1,144,600 meaning homes generally sold well above list price indicating that it’s still as “seller” market.

None of the homes thatt sold were in the gated community of Fusion South Bay but  Three Sixty South Bay was an entirely different story with 4 of the 5 homes that sold in the gated community.  Wow.

$828 was the average price per square foot and homes averaged  a brief 24 days on market before going into escrow.

Hollyglen and Del Aire Home Sales and Prices in February

After some sleepy months for home sales in the gated community of Three Sixty South Bay, things took off in January and February. There were 7 homes sold in the Hawthorne neighborhoods of Hollyglen and Del Aire in February and 3 of them were in Three Sixty.

The average “asking” price for the 7 homes was $1,050,557 with an average sold price of $1,070,571.

Of the 3 homes that sold in 360, one was a top floor single level condo at 12920 Central Unit #401 that had been on the market for a hard to believe 343 days before going into escrow and selling at $775,000.  Another was a very different story as 5419 Strand #105 sold for over list price and went into escrow after only 5 days on the market.  The third sale was a fairly similar 2 bedroom townhome in the row at 5355 Strand #103 that sold for $1045,000 after 12 days on the market.

Welcome to the real estate recap for November 2024 for the neighborhoods of Hollyglen, Del Aire and parts of Wiseburn in Hawthorne CA. It was a great month for real estate in these highly sought after areas both in terms of the number of homes that sold as well the prices that they sold for.  There were 4 on market home sales during the month which was a big drop from the 10 sales in October. The average “list” price was $1,074,225 and the average sales price was $1,072,500 which was a decline from  $1,115,400 in October. Of the 4 homes that sold in October, 1 was in the gated community of Fusion South Bay and 1 sale in the community of Three Sixty South Bay. $806 was the average price per square foot and homes averaged  37 days on market before going into escrow.
