The latest listing to hit the market in the Fusion South Bay complex is a 2 bed, 2 bath “D” layout hitting the market at $859,000.  It’s a very nice unit but this is going to be a real test for the market with the last two D floorplans recently selling for $815,000 and $817,500.  This layout is fairly popular as it has a nice sized kitchen, a bright and open living room and both bedrooms are on the same level.  The biggest challenge to this layout is that the “guest” bathroom is off of the stairs up to the bedrooms so it’s not actually on either the living room or bedroom level.   It is a bit odd to walk half way up the steps to a full bath but certainly hasn’t slowed the demand for this layout in the past.    As with all Fusion South Bay  homes this one has air conditioning and is in the award winning Wiseburn School District.

Measure A Passes Expanding the Boundaries of the Wiseburn School District

Measure A Passes Adding "Choice Blocks" to the Wiseburn District

Great news for some of the streets and homes that had been just on the outside of the boundaries for the Wiseburn School District….Measure A passes allowing “choice blocks” to be integrated into the district.  Great news indeed!

Measure A passes with 94% voting Yes

This past Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021 those on the Choice Blocks (Wiseburn area between 138th and 142nd street) voted with a resounding Yes (over 94%) to join the Wiseburn Unified School District (WUSD).  For those interested in the official results, please see the County Registrar’s page at Election Results (lavote.net)

More information will be published as we learn it, the WUSD is aware of the result and will be publishing information on the next steps (for now nothing changes until the administrative notifications are published).
